Nepenthes Justice

Nepenthes Justice is a cross of N. ventricosa X N. Eclipse, the latter being a N. ramispina hybrid.I bought this plant as a small seedling in early August 2011. At that time, it had two small pitchers no more than 2″ tall and quite slender. The plant itself was still very small, spanning no more than a few inches. This is what a year of careful, loving cultivation can do:

The largest pitchers are now 6″ tall and the plant is about 14″ wide. (The pot it is in is a 6″ diameter basket) The green moss surrounding the base of the plant is a species of Sphagnum, often seen in the habitat of many Nepenthes species.
