Tube home for frogs.

Apparently Nepenthes pitchers make ideal day beds for frogs, even though North American frogs have no history of association with the genus. I guess its a matter of opportunism: if you’re a frog looking for a private, damp place to spend a hot afternoon, a Nepenthes pitcher must just about look like the cats meow. This is N. truncata X N. spectabilis, by the way. Apparently it is a favorite hideout for the amphibians.
